As a volunteer organization not only do we rely on volunteer labor but we also depend upon donations of raw materials to make our quilts, financial donations to offset the cost of storage and the purchase of sewing machines and supplies. Please see below for information on donating to our cause.

VOLUNTEER WITH US
We would love to have you spend an afternoon with us! Not only do we need people to help sew, but also to sort fabric, pin, iron, fold and help coordinate our donations of finished quilts. No prior experience necessary! Just a strong desire to help!
DONATE SUPPLIES
We cannot make quilts without fabric, batting and thread. We also cannot turn those materials into finished products without sewing machines. If you would like to donate supplies such as these please contact us for more information on how to do so.
A FEW WORDS ABOUT DONATING TO US AND OUR CHARITABLE STATUS
We need your help to help those less fortunate in and around our communities. Donations of fabric, batting (the material between the layers of fabric in a quilt), thread and even money are greatly appreciated. Fortunately our organization has grown to the point where we are producing quilts at such a pace that fabric donated to us has outgrown our original small storage area at home. Quilting for a Cause NJ is now renting a storage unit to help us stay better organized and stocked with material for future quilt making. However, that comes with a monthly rental fee. Financial donations will help offset this new cost.
NOTE: Many people have asked us and the answer is that we are NOT YET a 501(c)3 charity organization. We are working on the paperwork for this designation and hope to be classified as one with the IRS in the near future so that all of your donations will be fully tax deductible.
